Rachel Clayton
Rachel began her career as a national reporter in New Zealand for Stuff and made her mark covering numerous natural disasters including the 2016 Kaikoura Earthquake where she won a Canon Award for breaking news coverage.
She joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2019 and was part of the team that won a Walkley Award for coverage of the New Year’s Eve Victorian bushfires, contributed to research for the Matchbox television show Fires.
Rachel possesses incredibly strong written and visual storytelling skills and has a passion for telling stories that expose Australia’s broadening inequality.
